Hydrophilic membranes are easily wetted by water and are preferred for filtering aqueous solutions. This group includes:
PVDF membrane
Resistant to a large number of organic solvents, making it a very versatile membrane.
PES membrane (polyethersulfone)
With very high porosity and asymmetric pore structure, ensuring excellent flow rates.
Hydrophobic membranes
Hydrophobic membranes are used for filtration of solvents and fine chemicals. We offer the following type:
PTFE membrane
A fluoropolymer resistant to chemicals and high temperatures. Due to its strength and wide chemical resistance, it has broad applications. Hydrophobic PTFE membranes can also be used for filtration of organic solvents and gases.
PVDF Membrane
PVDF membrane filter cartridges with hydrophilic PVDF membrane are suitable for removing particles and microorganisms from various applications, such as industrial and biopharmaceutical processes.
PVDF is a very stable polymer that covers a wide range of pH values and temperatures. Thanks to these properties, these membranes enable reliable sterile filtration, high flows, low extractables, and wide chemical compatibility, including excellent steam resistance.
