    POLYPROPYLENE DEPTH FILTERS

    GELCROC GCF

    GELCROC GCF

The GCF model is distinguished by its use of special, thicker, thermally bonded macro-denier polypropylene fibers. They form a rigid and openly porous depth filtration matrix capable of withstanding filtration of highly viscous liquids (up to 20 Pa·s) or dispersions with very high solids content.

The multi-layer, graded depth filtration media distributes the contaminant load across different filter layers, resulting in a long service life.

Importantly for dispersions containing solids, GELCROC GCF is highly selective. This means that particles larger than the nominal pore size are effectively removed, while smaller particles can pass through the filter more easily.

In addition, GELCROC GCF provides excellent gel retention.

GELCROC GCF depth filters are truly unique. In production processes with highly viscous liquids or high solids content, they enable a stable and efficient filtration cycle at economical costs.

    CSM DB

CSM DB is a depth filter cartridge made from bicomponent PP/PE fibers, where the polypropylene fibers are wrapped with an outer layer of polyethylene.

The fibers of the depth filtration media are thermally bonded by exploiting the different melting temperatures of the two materials (polypropylene and polyethylene). This creates a strong bond between the fibers at every contact point within the depth structure.

The result is a very rigid, deep porous structure that eliminates the need for an inner core and prevents fiber migration.

The porosity of the depth filter remains stable throughout the entire service life of the filter.
