PLEATED POLYPROPYLENE FILTERS

SAINT GOBAIN NDP
NDP depth-pleated polypropylene filter cartridges have been developed for filtration applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, and chemical industries.
NDP is particularly suitable for liquids with high biological load or suspended solid particles.
The highly efficient graded porosity design removes particles gradually by size – larger particles are retained in the coarser outer layers of the filter, while smaller particles are removed in the finer inner layers. The outer layers act as a pre-filter, while the inner layers ensure final particle retention at a defined pore size.
This design evenly distributes contaminants throughout the entire filtration media, which compared to conventional filter cartridges enables higher dirt holding capacity, longer service life, and lower pressure drop.
Saint-Gobain guarantees manufacturing in an ISO 13485 certified facility, ensuring a high level of product safety and quality control.

GELCROC P
GELCROC-P filters represent a further development of so-called hybrid filters that combine the properties of depth and pleated filters.
GELCROC-P filters have additional support layers in the pleat structure. They ensure that all parts of the filtration media remain accessible to highly viscous liquids. The advantage is a significantly longer filter service life.
The multi-layer filtration media has graded pore sizes that allow retention of particles of different sizes within the filtration media. Combined with a large filtration surface, a low pressure drop across the filter is achieved.
GELCROC-P filters are ideal for liquids with high solids content or high viscosity (up to 20,000 mPa·s).
Optional: factory pre-washed with deionized water (18 MΩ).

CSM PLP
PLP filter cartridges have proven themselves over decades as an economical filtration solution across various applications.
Unlike many other pleated polypropylene filters made from thin, often externally sourced filtration media, PLP features a multi-layer structure. This structure enables better distribution of particles of different sizes throughout the entire filter cartridge.
CSM independently manufactures all PP filtration media on its own non-woven material production lines, enabling complete control of all parameters and optimal adaptation of filter properties.
The letter "L" in the name "PLP" stands for "Long". With properly selected pore size for a given liquid, PLP achieves a significantly longer service life than many other polypropylene filters.

CSM PIP
The PIP filter cartridge represents one of the most advanced hybrid polypropylene filter cartridges on the market. Through the application of advanced non-woven material production technologies, filtration media with very fine fibers (Super Fine Fibers) are created, which are particularly suitable for the filtration of particles and soft contaminants such as gels.
The progressively finer pore structure reduces differential pressure, increases contaminant holding capacity, and makes this filter cartridge a high-performance filtration solution.
Due to the Super Fine Fibers structure, available pore sizes are limited to a range of 0.5 to 6 µm.
Since CSM independently manufactures all filtration media on its own non-woven material production lines, all production parameters are under complete control, enabling optimal adaptation of filter properties.
Optional: factory pre-washed with deionized water (18 MΩ).
Applications
- digital printing inks
- LCD and OLED production
- hardcoats
