Ink filtration is a demanding task because formulations, pigments, binders and solvents differ significantly in their filtration behavior.

For example, filters that are too fine can remove too many functional pigments, leading to short filter life and reduced pigment concentration in the ink.

If the filters are too coarse, printhead clogging may occur.

If the filter media cannot retain microgels, they can later form agglomerates in the ink.

We offer a selection of filter cartridges optimized for ink filtration: UV inks, solvent-based inks or water-based inks.

For quick identification of the optimal filter, we offer 1-inch filter cartridges in combination with the Labo XS filter housing so you can test filtration in the laboratory before production use.

Industrial digital printing (large format printing, decorative wood printing, ceramic and textile printing) is growing stronger, while 3D printing is expanding rapidly.
